Faith Transition

Shifts in faith or changes in belief can feel extremely threatening and isolating. I support individuals whose faith or belief systems may be shifting or growing in ways that clash with previously held values and beliefs. I provide support by being an empathetic ear and holding space not as a teacher but as a fellow enquirer that values not just the outcome but the sacred journey.

Sub-clinical Anxiety

Anxious thoughts and feelings are not only unpleasant but can often feel like they are getting in the way of the life you would like to lead. Through a narrative approach I help clients can create some distance from seeing themselves as the problem and anxiety as a symptom of that problem. Helping them instead create richer more empowering narratives about themselves that encourage behaviours that are more inline with who they are and would like to be.

Sub-clinical depression

I provide emotional support to clients that are experiencing depressive symptoms through a solution focused and mindful approach. Where I work collaboratively with you in identifying that “inner-critic” and create internal dialogue that is supportive instead of self-blaming. This is a powerful first step in creating space to explore new behaviours and attempts at connection.

Relationship Support

Everything that I do, whether working with a couple or individual generally comes back to relationships. In the process of relational support, I work collaboratively with you to assist you in identifying patterns that may not be serving you in relationships. This awareness often offers us an insight into your “self-concept” or how you see yourself, which effects how you relate to others. With this insight and awareness, you will be empowered to move forward in relating in ways that are more meaningful to you.

Stress Management & Burnout

We live and work within systems that demand a lot of us, at times, too much. I assist clients in coping with stress and the early effects of burn out by creating self-awareness around triggers, energy drainers and gainers and rest. With this awareness clients can identify stressors and manage their own stress by implement care practices- that actually work for you!

Trauma Support

I support clients that have been through traumatic experiences by creating a gentle and non-judgemental space where my clients can feel safe to share their experience and the meaning it has had for them. I also draw on psycho-education to provide insight into the experience and perhaps shed a light on what the path forward may be, while I offer emotional support on the way.

Enneagram coaching

The enneagram is a personality assessment tool, what sets the enneagram apart is that it does not just identify behaviours but our core motivations, that impact our behaviours. This new self-awareness is incredibly helpful for individuals in assessing and experimenting with new behaviours that can move them forward both personally and professionally. It can also support teams in creating systems that work to support positive collaborative relationships.

Christian Counselling

Suffering is spiritual, and many of our experiences or those of others can seem to clash or not make sense in our understanding or relationship with God. I offer Christians who are grappling with life changes, disappointment and relational wounds a safe and non-judgemental space to share their experience without needing to worry about being a “good” or “bad” Christian. It’s my belief that God is bigger than that and very present at times of struggle.
